The daughter of a minister and a public-school teacher, Lynne has a passion for helping people. Her unique approach to legal issues comes from being trained as a mediator before becoming a lawyer. As a mediator first, lawyer second, you can be sure Lynne will seek to understand all the factors involved in your individual situation. From there, she will help you find the best answers to solve your problem.
After graduating from Texas A&M University (class of ’95), Lynne began her career in Public Relations, Advertising, and Marketing. A move to the Baltimore Maryland area introduced Lynne to the field of Mediation. Inspired, Lynne returned to school earning an MA in Conflict Resolution and Restoration from Abilene Christian University. While completing ACU’s hybrid program, Lynne also worked for the District Court of Maryland’s ADR Department.
Armed with her new degree in Conflict Resolution, being credentialed in Texas for Civil and Family mediations, as well as certified for Civil mediation in Maryland, Lynne began her mediation career. To expand her knowledge base and mediation practice, she decided to pursue a JD in her home state of Texas.
Lynne attended law school as the first class through Texas A&M University School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas. While there, she was highly successful in multiple ABA ADR competitions, winning the National ABA Representation in Mediation competition and earning a place within the Order of Barristers. Since law school, Lynne has practiced law in multiple areas, including Family, Probate, Trade (export compliance), Business Litigation, Real Property, Trade Secrets, and Employment law.
Today, Lynne focuses her practice on mediation and general counsel services only. No longer in an adverse role to any attorney, she works to be the neutral an attorney can count on.
As a wife, mother, entrepreneur, mediator, and attorney, Lynne believes every day is filled with limitless possibilities.
